Terracotta Art offers both fine furniture restoration and original art work by Diana Garcia. Diana first became involved with fine art and furniture restoration while studying in Madrid. Through an exploration of various art forms, working with natural pigments, painting bases and several techniques Diana learned to properly conserve fine furniture both modern and antique.

Diana's specializes in furniture conservation. Conservation involves preserving and restoring items of modern and antique furniture, while insuring that items retain their original characteristics. This is achieved by balancing and combining the knowledge of a variety of practical techniques, such as french polish, veneering, marquetry restoration, gilding, and faux finishes.

Since the earliest stages of her career Diana has honed her skills and specialized in antique restoration. At the present, in a world of mass production, these skills can be hard to find elsewhere. Over the past fifteen years Diana has been working with absolute passion restoring fine quality furniture and antiques in New York, Haifa and Madrid.
